The Big Burn by Terry Watkins (A+)

In the beginning of this book, the heroine had a TSTL moment that annoyed me so much I almost didn’t continue reading.  It’s one of those things where it’s the middle of disaster, the team leader has ordered everyone to back off, yet the heroine does a suicide move and goes in and rescues complete strangers.

This happens in Terry Watkins’ The Big Burn, and despite that huge, enormous TSTL moment, I give the book a second chance.  This was…
